Indigenous plant of the month: February

Crocosmia, or "falling stars" is definitely my most favourate flower. Growing up on a farm, waking up very early on Monday mornings to be in time for school, packing a suitcase for the weeks stay in the hostel and picking a bunch of "falling stars" while mom and brother waits in the car, hooting for me to hurry up.

Plant in between other plants (plants tend to fall over and needs support) adding splashes of colour to your garden.
